About Me

I picked up my first DSLR in 2012 when I was taking photography at the University of Washington, but sadly put down my camera in an attempt to travel lighter and climb faster in the mountains. Now as a mother, slowing down on the trail and seeing nature through my children’s eyes has rekindled my love for photography and I no longer mind packing up a giant camera to capture those special moments together outside. Most of my spare time in my adult life has been spent outside hiking, backpacking, trail running, mountaineering and snowboarding. So whatever the location or adventure you have in mind, I will be there with my camera. Through Blooms in the Wild, I hope to bring together my various passions to create a unique photography experience and inspire some time outside with your family.
